Sundays are a vital part of our life as a church. It is when the whole family gets together. Like every family, we try to welcome and include all the generations - sometimes all together as one, sometimes in age-appropriate groups. We learn from the Bible in order to hear God speaking to us, we pray to him, we sing and worship, and we simply enjoy being together as God's family.
8.45 am - Holy Communion, with junior church. A slightly more formal service lasting an hour.
10.30 am - Morning Service lasting just over an hour.
First Sunday of each month is an all-age Family Service with everyone worshipping together.
At all other services we have a creche and groups for children aged 3 upwards (aka Junior Church or Sunday school).
Second and third Sundays are a Service of the Word, a service with a contemporary feel and a mix of contemporary and traditional music, and Bible teaching.
Fourth Sunday is similar, but includes The Lord's Supper, or Holy Communion.
We have groups for children at all services except for the first Sundays of the month.
10.30 am - a service of Holy Communion.
10.30 am - Morning Services alternate between a Service of the Word and Holy Communion. The service lasts just over an hour and has a contemporary feel with songs projected onto a screen.
From time to time we have an all-age Family Service together.
Our music is led by a band (vocalists, keyboard, guitars, drums) and generally we sing a blend of modern worship songs and traditional hymns.
We sometimes hold an evening prayer meeting at Clayton Brook, from 6 to 7pm. However, we do not meet during the darkest winter months. Please watch this space for a resumption of these.
All children are very welcome to join our Junior Church. We have creches in both churches for 0 - 3 year olds and junior church as follows:
